Why Widdershins?
This is a question I’ve been asked several times recently so I thought I might clear it up for anyone that is interested enough to read it.
Other than the fact that it’s just plain awesome, the word widdershins means counter-clockwise or contrary. With a definition like that, it just seemed perfect for what I wanted my business to be.

My goal, not only for my shop but throughout life as well, is to turn back the clock to a simpler, better time. A time when people were neighbors and truly cared about one another. A time when things were created by hand with love and passion for the craft.

I want to step away and go contrary to where the rest of the world is headed. I want to bring something just plain good; something beautiful. I want to create a little bit of light when everything seems to be getting darker by the second.

So join me… let’s go Widdershins to the world… let’s work to bring some beauty and kindness to those around us.
