Hello, head sewgician here. I must say I’m very flattered that you stopped to read my thoughts. I thought I might start this website off with a little bit about myself and why I do what I do.

My name is Sarah and I come from a long line of sewists. My great-grandmother would hurry to get her chores done so she could work on whatever quilt was in the frames, my grandmother always had a project on the sewing table, my mother used to make dresses and such for my sister and I and my father always enjoyed quilting.

I learned how to sew at an early age, but I think I was in sixth grade when I started my first quilt and fell in love with sewing. With this also began my slight addiction to fabric and all things stitched. I’ve been attempting through crazy projects ever since.

It is my plan to use this blog to share some of my stories, struggles and victories as well as some patterns and projects. I truly hope that you enjoy my work and find something that might bring a little brightness to your day.
